Anthony Dean Hendrix passed away on Sunday, May 25th, 2025. He was born January 10th, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Roberta "Bobbi" Ann Hendrix, and his father, Carroll Dean Hendrix. He is survived by his mother Alicia Hendrix, wife Linda Hendrix, daughter Elizabeth (and husband Tim), son David, grandchildren Rhiannon, Kelly, Sarah, Tim Jr., Lydia and Skylar.
Throughout his 47 year tenure at Southwest Research Institute, he was involved in intramural sports including softball and volleyball. He won multiple nighttime golf tournaments, played tennis and racquetball, competed in a local darts league, and discovered his love for hunting.
He was a proud member of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club for over 20 years where he served as a local, regional and state leader. He was an amateur competitive shooter. He picked up guitar and thoroughly enjoyed playing and learning the instrument. He was a creator at heart and used his skills in welding and woodworking to build or fix anything that needed it.
Memorial services will be held in his honor on Monday, 6/2/2025 starting at 6pm CST at the Grace Cathedral Christian Church located at 1001 W. Huisache Ave, San Antonio TX, 78201.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday 7/5/2025 from 12pm-5pm at the Bulverde Community Center located at 1747 East Ammann Road, Bulverde TX, 78163.
