EDWARD CRUZ
TREVINO
Apr 1, 1992 — Jun 10, 2026
in Loving Memory of Edward Cruz Treviño Sr.
With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Cruz Treviño Sr., who entered eternal rest on June 10, 2026, at the age of 34.
Edward was born on April 1, 1992, in San Antonio, Texas, to David and Marina Treviño, both of whom preceded him in death. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made on the lives of those who loved him will be felt forever.
Edward was known for his larger-than-life personality, contagious laughter, and loving spirit. He had a gift for making people smile, finding humor in life’s challenges, and bringing joy wherever he went. He was hardworking, loyal, and always willing to lend a helping hand. To know Edward was to know kindness, laughter, and unconditional love.
Above all else, Edward was a devoted husband and an incredible father. He loved his wife, Desiree Treviño, with all his heart and took great pride in being a father to his four beautiful children: Edward Cruz Treviño Jr., Ezekiel Castiel Treviño, Ghenise Renee Treviño, and Allyson Jcee Treviño. His children were the center of his world, and everything he did was motivated by his love for them.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Desiree Treviño; his cherished children, Edward Jr., Ezekiel, Ghenise, and Allyson; his siblings, Patricia Vasquez, David Treviño Jr., Jessica M. Garibay, and Frank J. Garcia; his nieces, Brandi Vasquez and Ariana Treviño; and his nephews, Jeremiah Vasquez, Frank Treviño, Luke Vasquez, Josiah D. Treviño, David J. Treviño III, Dominic Treviño, and Izaak J. Garcia.
For his family, Edward was much more than a brother, son, husband, or father. He was a source of laughter, comfort, and strength. The relationships with his siblings were built on love, loyalty, and countless memories that will forever be treasured. The loss of Edward leaves a void that can never be filled, but his love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
Edward’s life was a testament to the importance of family, love, and finding joy even in difficult times. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his playful spirit, his unwavering devotion to those he loved, and the happiness he brought to everyone around him.
Although our hearts are shattered by his loss, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through his children, his family, and the many lives he touched during his 34 years.
Edward will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever remain in our hearts.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed, and very dear."
