Hector J. Sanchez Jr age 59, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026. He was born on March 7, a birthday he shared with his mother, Alicia, and his sister, Jennifer. He was raised in San Antonio, Texas, where he lived a life filled with love and laughter.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alicia Sanchez, and his father, Hector J Sanchez Sr.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Villarreal, Cynthia Sada, Jennifer Sanchez, and Melissa Sanchez; his brother, Richard Sanchez; his many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

He had a love for people like no other and would take the time to share stories with anyone willing to lend him an ear. He loved cooking, singing, and dancing for those he loved. Although people held a special place in his heart, his love extended to the animals in his life as well. He loved his cat of 13 years, Lacy Sanchez, as if she were his own child.

We will miss hearing his voice and laughter, constantly on the phone, making calls, checking in on people, seeing what they are up to and how their day was going.

Hector will be remembered for his generosity and unforgettable presence. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he shared will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
