Juan N. Sanchez, age 74, of San Antonio, TX, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026 at his home with his wife at his side.
He was born on February 27, 1952 in Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico to Cesareo and Maria Cesarea Sanchez.
He came to Texas as a teenager and worked as an insurance agent for Sanborn’s Mexico Insurance for many years.
He welcomed his son, Julian, during his first marriage. Later, he wed Janie, and together they welcomed their daughter, Sandra. Juan and Janie shared many beautiful years together until her passing in 2020.
He found love and companionship once again and married his devoted wife, Diana, who brought immense happiness to his final years. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and companionship.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Diana J Sanchez; his children and their families:
· Julian Sanchez and his wife, Tiffany, of San Antonio, TX.
· Sandra Sharp and her husband, James, of San Antonio, TX.
He was the incredibly proud grandfather of Victoria and David Sharp.
Juan leaves behind his very special sister, Maria Teresa Celestino, with whom he shared a deeply cherished lifelong bond. He is also survived by his half siblings Maria de los Angeles, Maria del Carmen, and Daniel Sanchez, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Throughout his life, his unwavering love for Jesus was his anchor and the foundation for everything he did. A faithful servant, he honorably served as a deacon at Sendero Assembly of God Church for many years, dedicating his time to ministering to others and living out his faith in action.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, September 2 at 11:00 AM at Sendero Church located at 5408 Daughtry Drive. A viewing and visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM.
