Janie E. Carrillo, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Janie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and beloved member of her extended family. She will be remembered for her strong faith in Jesus, kind heart, and deep love for her family.

Janie had a passion for sewing, gardening, and plant propagation, often bringing new life to her favorite greenery. She was an animal lover who found joy and companionship in caring for chickens, and cats throughout her life. Her evenings were filled with watching Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, GunSmoke, and RifleMan which she loved. Janie's faith was the cornerstone of her life, and her unwavering devotion inspired those around her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Fidel Carrillo Sr.; parents, Roberto and Amelia Estala; siblings Javier Estala, and Jose Estala.

She is survived by her loving children, Fidel Carrillo Jr., Mary Carrillo, and Victor Carrillo; Seven grandchildren; Ten great-grandchildren; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; Seven sisters and One brother.

Her family was the center of her world, and her love for them knew no bounds.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Country Baptist Church 17800 FM 471, Natalia, TX 78059, and a Memorial dinner to follow.
