It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our mother Margaret M. Driver of Lytle, Texas, on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Mom went peacefully into the hands of her Lord and Savior at the age of 84. She was born on December 14, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas, and was the eldest of nine children born to Sostenes C. & Otilia V. Menchaca. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister- Mary Ann, eldest son John Albert Driver and two grandsons, John A. Driver II, and Jacob A. Driver.

Mom is survived by her son, Charles A. Driver (Josephine E.), and daughter Wanda J. Thornton (Jimmy). She is also survived by daughter in-law, Josefina C. Driver (John Albert), as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Richard (Linda) Menchaca, Juan (Cheryl) Menchaca, Pancho (Martha) Menchaca, and Santos (Kathy) Menchaca, as well as sisters Rosa Anna Elizardo, Emilia Cortez, and Analía (Ignacio) Menchaca-Narvaez, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no viewing- Rosary and Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew's Catholic Church located at 14831 Main St. in Lytle, Texas on Friday April 28, 2023

Rosary 12:30pm, Funeral Mass 1:00pm. Interment will follow immediately after at Lytle Community Cemetery.

Serving as mom's pallbearers will be her beloved grandsons Ruben Segura, Jr, Charles Driver II, John C. Morgan, Angel Alcala, Adam Rios, Osvaldo Chavarria, and Daniel Patlan.
