In Loving Memory of Michael Frazier

Michael Frazier, 57, passed away on September 13, 2026.

Michael was a hardworking man who devoted his life to his family and to helping the people around him. For 25 years, he worked as a long-haul truck driver, driving an 18-wheeler across the United States. The road became a major part of his life, taking him across the country and giving him countless stories and experiences along the way. His CB radio remains a reminder of the many years and miles he spent behind the wheel.

After retiring from truck driving, Michael never really stopped working or helping others. He was the kind of person people could call when they needed something done. Whether it was mowing a yard, hauling something, fixing a car, or taking care of just about any other job that needed an extra set of hands, Michael was always willing to help. He also worked as a caregiver, continuing to spend his time looking after and caring for others.

Michael had a personality all his own. He was funny and what those closest to him would lovingly describe as a good kind of crazy. He enjoyed the simple things in life, especially sitting on his porch with a Coke and listening to music. He loved rock and roll and country, and you often knew Michael was home before you ever saw him because you could hear the music playing as he pulled into the driveway.

Michael also had a special place in his heart for Erica’s dog, Mars. He loved Mars so much that he often joked that one day he was going to kidnap him and bring him back home to live with him.

Above all else, Michael loved his family. He gave so much of himself to the people he cared about and was known for putting others before himself. The work he did, the sacrifices he made, and the many ways he showed up for the people around him will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elsa Frazier, and his parents, Leonard Frazier and Bobbe Ann Frazier.

He is survived by his children, Robert Frazier, Angelina Cruz-Diaz, Erica Booker, Amanda de la Rosa, and Jesselle de la Rosa; his grandchildren, John Angel, Alyssa, Izaus, Madilyn, Chris, and Matt; and his brothers, Charles, Billy, and David Hood.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness, Michael will be remembered for far more than the work he did. He will be remembered for his humor, the music playing from his truck, the time spent sitting on his porch, the many miles he traveled, and the countless times he showed up when someone needed help.

Most of all, he will be remembered for the love he gave to his family/friends and the unforgettable personality that made Michael simply Michael.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
