It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn Michael Vanderpool, who left this world on September 25th, 2026. Born on May 26th, 1982, in the vibrant town of Cape Canaveral, Florida, Shawn spent his life driven by the warmth and spirit of the people he loved and cherished. 

Shawn was the beloved son of Cynthia Vanderpool and the late Scott M. Vanderpool. From his earliest days, he was a beacon of light and love, marked by an innate ability to see the good in others - a quality that defined his relationships and work throughout his life. 

Shawn's journey through life was shared with several remarkable individuals who were dear to him. His partner, Kayla Otten, shared a profound bond with him since 2019. Their love story was blessed with the birth of their daughter, Kinslee Vanderpool, on March 24th, 2020, who bought immense joy and laughter into Shawn's life.

Before meeting Kayla, Shawn was blessed with three more wonderful children through significant relationships. With Rebecca Andrews, he welcomed his daughter Gracie Vanderpool, who was a source of pride and happiness. His marriage to Jennifer Vanderpool brought him two more children, Brianna and Hunter Vanderpool, whose achievements and aspirations he supported wholeheartedly. 

Shawn's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he shared a close-knit bond with his brother, Kristopher Vanderpool, who stood by him through thick and thin.

A graduate of Titusville High School, Shawn embarked on a career path that showcased his determination and commitment. His recent role was as an assistant manager with Take 5, where he was on the cusp of transitioning to a management position. His journey in this field began with Strictland Brothers in Titusville, Fl where he honed his skills and exemplified the dedication and resilience that defined his work ethic. 

Shawn's life was a testament to overcoming obstacles with grace and perseverance. His friendly demeanor and outgoing nature made him a cherished friend and colleague to many. He possessed a rare ability to see the protentional in others, fostering relationships that enriched both his personal and professional life. 

Though his time with us was far too short, the impact Shawn made on those around him will endure. His legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of people.

Shawn Michael Vanderpool will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His spirit will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey.
