WILLIAM JOSEPH
COX

Starts at 4:00 pm (Central time)
William Joseph Cox, lovingly known as Bill, passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 71.
Born in New York on December 19, 1954, Bill was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, good company, a good laugh, and making memories with the people he loved.
A mechanic throughout his life, Bill had a passion for automobiles and enjoyed working on just about anything with an engine. Working on vehicles wasn’t simply his profession; it was something he genuinely loved.
Bill was known for his sense of humor and his endless supply of silly jokes. He enjoyed making people laugh, even if it meant getting a few eye rolls along the way.
Bill and his beloved wife, Sallie, shared 46 wonderful years together, filled with laughter, friendship, and adventure. In their younger years, they enjoyed good times with family and friends, never passing up an opportunity for a party or a night out. As the years went by, their adventures took them to the open seas, where they discovered a shared love of cruising. Together, they explored new destinations, made lasting memories, and continued enjoying life side by side.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sallie; his children, William Robert “Billy” Cox, Christopher Ramos, Jenny Ramos, and Donna Ramos; his sisters, Rosemary Hermes and Donna Heye (Michael Heye); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Bill’s love of life, his humor, and the memories he created with those around him will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family and friends.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
